Employees at LifeLock Skip a Day of Work to Give Back to Local Communities in a Day of Service
Company Puts its Values Into Action With Employee Volunteerism
TEMPE, Ariz. – Today, LifeLock, Inc., (NYSE: LOCK) kicked off its annual day of volunteerism, where employees leave their desks, roll up their sleeves and give back to local communities in a day of service. All of LifeLock's employees are invited to join the event, called "Do-Gooder Day," across office locations in Tempe, Ariz.; San Diego, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif.; and Mountain View, Calif.

"These organizations we support make a positive impact in the lives of the community members they serve. We're proud to help them in return by contributing our expertise and resources."
The company's social responsibility mission is to help keep families safer in an always-connected world. In addition to providing services that help members gain some peace of mind, LifeLock is also focused on volunteerism and giving back to communities in ways that further its mission. With its annual Do-Gooder Day, LifeLock is making tangible strides in key areas of focus, including providing education to help protect against identity broadly in local communities.
Highlights of the day include:
UMOM New Day Centers: UMOM is the largest shelter for homeless families in the state of Arizona. Founded in 1964, UMOM's mission is to prevent and end homelessness with innovative strategies and housing solutions that meet the unique needs of each family and individual. Last year UMOM served more than 6,000 individuals through its shelter and housing programs. Volunteers will clean, help in the child development center and sort clothing in the donation center.
Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT): RAFT helps close the achievement gap and helps students apply their knowledge to a real world environment. In the Sunnyvale, Calif., center, volunteers will help assemble hands-on learning kits for science, math and art, or sort and prepare donated materials for distribution to educator-members of RAFT.
GLIDE Foundation: Glide's creates a radically inclusive community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization. In San Francisco, Calif., volunteers will work with kitchen staff and assist with washing, chopping and mixing ingredients in preparation for GLIDE's daily meal service.
Promises2Kids: With a mission to create a brighter future for foster children, Promises2Kids has responded to the needs of foster children and provided support to children removed from their home due to abuse and neglect. Volunteers will assist with a variety of projects, such as making no-sew fleece blankets; toiletries bags, assisting with volunteer manuals and assemble gift bags for Gala.
As part of the company's commitment to help fight identity theft, LifeLock trains law enforcement, victim advocates and collaborates with a variety of non-profit organizations to help consumers establish positive habits to combat identity threats. For example, LifeLock partnered with the nonprofit FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA) to provide free training to law enforcement throughout the United States and has reached more than 11,000 law enforcement officers, representing more than 4,000 agencies in all 50 states. LifeLock also partnered with the nonprofit National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) to provide training to victim advocates throughout the United States. LifeLock's partnerships with non-profit organizations focus on parents of pre-teen children, foster children, and victims of domestic violence, who may be at higher risk of identity fraud. Since 2014, LifeLock has partnered with the National Parent Teacher Association to teach good digital citizenship and online safety habits for children.
